MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2010 part 3

I woke up at 10:30am the next day after the concert and I was shocked to find out that I was about to be late for Wonder Girls meet and greet session!!!argghh, so I quickly got myself dressed up (with my wet running shoes..zzz ) and flied to Sunway Resort hotel in less than half an hour :P

My friend Pang Soon Seng arrived slightly later and we were led to a special meeting room to wait..
We were surprised to find out that many of the fans there were prepared with plenty of gifts for the girls :P
and even better, MTV Korean crew was there to shoot us cheering for Wonder Girls, some enthusiastic fans even offered to perform in front of the camera :) not bad not bad! Hopefully my face wouldn't look so bad when the clip is shown in "MTV Wonder Girls" :P

We went in to meet them in a group of six. and I was super nervous to get into such a close distance with them, just like when meeting KP :P Luckily, they are really friendly and cute! I greeted and asked for their signature one by one ...Lim even offered to write my name "To Atlee <3" on top of the album..kakakax..爽到！
after that, all of us took a group photograph together and I managed to shake hands with Yenny before leaving!

I am really thankful to the organiser MTV Asia for giving me a chance to meet these wonderful people :P Hope that I can participate in this event again next year!

I was thinking of skipping the nitty-gritty of the meet n greet session with Katy Perry xD
It was kinda rushed on that day because I couldn't seem to find any music store in Sungai Wang & Times Square that sell her CD album..so I had to run up and down to search for it :(
I got to Hilton KL eventually with my friends.. all the lucky winners waited for around 2 hours until our turn to meet her!
It went quite well, and lighting FAST! I just got to introduce me and my younger brother to her while telling her that we are Always Young xD oh ya, she asked about our age too.

my friend commented that my "V" looks girlish ..ish..

I am really lazy to type about the concert itself now T_T

If you guys are smart enough to notice, there are two big gaps within the time line in which we were left standing in the drizzle with nearly emptied stomach and ultimate thirstiness.. LOL..
but still I love this concert so much because it had so much to offer in terms of the amazing artist performance as well as the great visual and sound effects put up on stage. This is seriously the best concert I had ever attended!

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2010 part 1

It all started with an online contest to win passes for this concert through this website, worldstage.mtvasia.com. In this contest, participants are required to spot Junior and the Bee on the top and bottom of the site to win! After knowing the lineup of this concert, my friend Jeanne and I began to play this stupid game days and nights in order to secure our passes..It was not a pleasant experience to keep refreshing different pages of the site and hoping that somehow miracle can happen.. yeah, after trying for countless times in weeks, my luck finally came, just for once. I wasn't particularly happy with my achievement then as Jeanne had already spotted the Junior for three freaking times >.<

okie, so I got my normal passes. now what? I thought that it will be great if we can get express lane passes that allows us to skip the normal queue. Seriously, at that time, I didn't even think that this wishful thinking of mine can become a reality. However, I decided to work harder and gave my best this time for the 2nd online contest, MTV WORLD STAGE LIVE IN MALAYSIA 2010 MEET 'N' GREET CONTEST. Participants who can answer all 10 random multiple choice questions (MCQ) correctly within the fastest time possible will win a prize, comprising of a pair of Meet ‘n’ Greet passes with the artiste of the entrant’s choice, and a pair of express passes to the Event!!! I became deeply addicted in this game as I realised that a faster internet connection and my superb mouse clicking skill were giving me much more advantage than other people. I played for literally hours a day until I knew that it's impossible for me to break my record anymore. I stuck at 12s, a rather satisfactory result :P

MTV Asia called me one day after the closing date of this contest : congratulations you have won yourself a chance to meet up with Katy Perry as well as a pair of express passes to the MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2010. It was unbelievable that I was going to meet her in such a short time! the story continues...

A real freaky night

Sometimes, things happen, and freak accident may happen to you too!

It was a peaceful night in my hometown and my big buddie Lew Voon Loong's birthday was just around the corner. So my "yumcha" gang decided to do something special : eating satay on a broken bridge beside Temerloh river. I know it sounds downright stupid but that place is like a hotspot for "young" people to hang out.

We went to that place after packing some delicious Kajang satay. I parked my car quite far away from the bridge and we walked there. Then, we found out that its better to put the satay on the bonnet instead of putting it on the dirty floor. so, I drove the car further out onto the bridge.

Things were all good when we were eating while chatting happily with each other. However, bad luck started to come when we wanted to leave the place. When I was turning to the left, one of my car front tyres suddenly got trapped in a drain. All my friends who were in the car went outside to see what had just happened. The exciting part came when I gave it a try to just turn the steering and reverse to get my tyre out. I did what I was supposed to do but I overdid it : the oil pedal was pressed all the way in.

It was all too late when I realised that my car was reversing to the back uncontrollably. I had a shock of my life when I saw the car was speeding backwards to the edge of the bridge. I thought that I was going to die at that very moment but I didn't because the steering was already turned. the car curved to the centre of the bridge and missed the edge. Luckily, my brain came back into function all in a sudden and I immediately stepped on the brake using my left feet. The car stopped and a piece of skin came off from underneath my right feet as it fell out of the car and it was left scratching on the floor all the while (my door wasn't closed).

I nearly lost my mum's car and my precious life. It was the most unforgettable birthday celebration I have ever had in these 20 years.

My Summer Break

2 months have passed, and I realised that a lot of stuff had happened.

My parents were surprised when I decided to take up Japanese beginner course. to be very frank, I didn't know that I can be that determined when it comes to "certain things". So I went to ICLS Subang to join their daytime intensive course. It wasn't all easy for me when I had to stay outside with my brother without private transportion in KL. I really hate walking under the hot sun while my body is sweating like nobody business BUT its a good exercise to test my patience, nonetheless :) In fact, I have many hometown friends to hang up with when I was in Subang :).

After around 3 weeks, I started my journey to the most expensive city in the world : tokyo :) I was treated very nicely by my big brother 大哥 in the whole trip. I really felt sorry for him in the first few days when I had to deal with my relationship problem in this unfamiliar city. Anyway, I didn't give up on my ambitious plan to travel to all the great tourist spots in Tokyo, even if it means I had to travel by my own, alone with my poor grasp of Japanese language :) Besides, during his free time, My brother also brought me to many interesting places around Tokyo namely the Disneyland, Yokohama, Kamakura as well as Izu ! Thanks to my brother, I had the chance to try a lot of exotic Japanese food too!!!

In the blink of an eye, I flew back to my lovely hometown : Temerloh :) and this time, I was going to live like a real 少爷 young master at home where I don't need to do anything except for eating, surfing internet as well as meeting my fellow hometown buddies. hahahaa, it was quite an enjoyable experience as I found myself with two new past times : World Cup 2010 as well as TVB Hong Kong drama broadcast live by Astro on Demand!

Anyway, I should really get going, need to keep myself fit after consuming so much fats in all the yumcha sessions ..tata!またね!

Vacation

Yeah! Atlee is back to blogging again after 3 grueling weeks of 'mugging' >.<

It was rather painful to study whole day without doing any exercise and I ended up suffering from headache. However, I am glad to have a bunch of friends who camped and studied together in a study room. At least I won't feel so lonely and stressful with their company (especially during my birthday T_T).

Okay, I shall not complain too much. By the way, I have recently received a piece of good news from NUS. I am offered a place for Student Exchange Program in HKUST, Hong Kong for NUS AY2010/2011 Semester 1 and I accepted it =). SEP is something extraordinary that I have always been wishing to do in my university life because it offers opportunity for me to explore the world outside Malaysia and Singapore. More importantly, I get to S/U all my modules..muahahahaa.....cant wait to go there immediately!

Yea, It's my vacation now!!! a 5-week holiday for me...hopefully an enjoyable one.

Air Ticket Vending Machine

Hey, it's me again!

This time, I am going to share more about an interesting experiment that I have done for my electrical engineering module : EE2006 Digital Design laboratory.

Basically, I am supposed to design a digital circuit that simulate a ticket dispensing machine which can allocate 15 seats. the number of seats required would be INPUT into the machine and REQUEST button will be pushed. if the seats are available, the AVAILABLE LED will light up followed by the COLLECT button. If the requested number of seats is unavailable, the UNAVAILABLE LED will light up instead.

As shown above, this is the breadboard that I have spent a total of 3 days and 3 sleepless nights wiring. hhahaa, and yes, ITS WORKING CORRECTLY!

TeamNUS Nexus 2009 Camp

this year, my Mid-term Break had turned out to be an unexpectedly busy one..
My normal routine for midterm break is just to stay at home for the whole week. period.
However, things changed..and I was forced to go for a camp on thursday (due to certain commitment ..lol)

So I thought its gonna be another leadership camp that I had experienced before...
but, its actually NOT. In fact, the whole trip was suprisingly EnjoYabLe =)
I have to say that I love all the activities planned in the camp especially the three physical challenging ones : White Water Rafting, Waterfall abseiling and Caving in Gua Tempurung.
Cant really describe the kind of excitement when we were going through the many different rapids along the river on the raft!

There are really no strangers there, only friends I've not met!

More importantly, I have made quite a lot of new friends (like 30++) in the camp =). We have bonded with each other after going through all the fun and games in these 3 days 3 nights (including 1 night in the coach).

Anyway, Now i am back to reality..midterm tests..assignment..LABs...Position Paper....Nam Wah Pai....endless tutorial questions....tata!

Year 2 in NUS

yupe, its my second year in NUS.
There is not much change with the things here except with the construction works in NUS. The on-going construction projects by NUS Office of Estate and Development will never be ending : new faculty of dentistry building, new business school, new state-of-the art building - Centre for Translational Medicine (CeTM), the list goes on and on...btw, the MRT station (Kent Ridge station) in NUS is still under construction and it should be completed by 2011, yah!

So, for this year, I am planning to join more CCAs (Co-Curricular Activities) so that i can get more CCA POINTS!!! yeah, I need the points very badly for my next year on-campus housing. T_T In fact, I need to get like 40+ points in order to continue my stay in PGPR (Prince George's Park Residence). Other than the Nam Wah Pai Martial Arts club I am enthusiastically involving with, I do not have any other commitment ,at all. Maybe I should start to find some housemates now? lol

I just watched Coco before Chanel last Sunday, it turns out to be a rather interesting French movie =) In short, the movie is about the life of a poor girl, Gabriella (Coco) who grew up in a poor, rural household and went on to become a legendary couturier as well as a classic symbol of success, freedom and style. for those who havent realised, Coco is the founder of the one of the most recognized brand in today's luxury goods industry - Chanel. Seriously, I think this movie is a lot better than the stupid Blxxdy Blood and the unreasonably sxxky Wolfhound that I had watched weeks ago.
and finally, I got my half-abandoned laptop FIXED! I bought the LCD screen on ebay one week ago. By following some guides available on the Internet, I actually managed to replace the lcd screen all by myself! However, the whole point of this troublesome DIY is about saving the cost. for a poor student like me, I definitely prefer to spend the relatively inexpensive amount of 180 SGD rather than paying 476.15 SGD to Toshiba. Thats a saving of about 300 SGD ! quite proud of myself =P

my RMA experience [Updated]

Yeah, for those who are still clueless about the meaning of RMA, let me explain it to you!

Two years ago, jianyi bought a modem with three-year warranty. Sometime after 2 years, he found out that his modem is not working !!! so what should he do??
a smart internet user like jianyi certainly will not just dump the modem and buy a new one.
Instead, he will try to get a replacement for his modem by initiating a RMA transaction.
The procedures taken usually involve

First, go to the relevant website to get more infomation about the RMA services provided by the company.
End Users are then required to call the relevant customer service center to get a RMA number. Online registration for RMA has also been provided by some companies. Through the company's portal , users are usually allowed to check the RMA status for their product.
Users will then have to package and return the faulty product back to the company. Walk-in is also possible for some companies.
The engineer from the company will access the product so that he can ascertain if a replacement or repair is needed to be done.
After a certain period of time (usually within 1-2 weeks), the product will be sent back to the users =)

As expected, jianyi has got a new replacement for his modem after completing all the steps above.[UPDATE] I have sold this modem router to a forumer from lowyat.NET , at a rather attractive price. btw, If you have any doubt on RMA/warranty claim, I am more than willing to help you ! I had done several succesful RMA for Harddisks and RAMs as well =)

My Workstation at Home [UPDATED]

Updated with some other photos for my first overclocking attempt![UPDATE] Recently, I tried to overclock my processor. for those who don't understand anything about overclock, here's a rather rough explanation for it

In a nutshell, the term is used to describe running a component at a higher speed than its specification in an attempt to increase performance. Various computer components can be overclocked, including the processor, memory, and graphics card. And the degree of overclocking can include anything from simply procuring small gains from an inexpensive component all the way to seeking a level of performance way beyond what could even be purchased at that point in time.

This BE processor of mine can be overclocked quite easily as its multiplier is unlocked. I got myself a 3rd party CPU cooler from Cooler Master, Hyper TX-3 so that it can help to cool down my CPU while i am trying to push its limit =P.

I started pushing the CPU core frequency from 2.8GHz to 3.3GHz, with an increment of 0.1GHz each time.
I couldnt pass the stability test after 3.3Ghz...so I added a little bit of CPU Vcore. I stopped my attempt at 3.4Ghz as I realised the CPU temp is going to reach 50C when it is fully loaded (with prime95 torture test).
I really had fun doing stuff like this..going to try it again when I have rested enough.

Interesting security features !

Recently, I discovered that our Malaysian Identity Card AKA MyKad has some rather entertaining security features.
As you can see from the picture, there is another hidden photo of mine (Young Jian Yi huh, not atlee?!).It can only be seen under the illumination of ultra-violet light from a money detector. ( I lend it from my mum's office..lol )
btw, I have blurred part of my IC number, its not supposed to be exposed =P

Actually there are also some nice things to see from our glorious Malaysian Ringgit, although its exchange rate is dropping w.r.t singapore dollars T_T
but, at least we can rest assured that a rm50 note still has a higher value than a 10SGD note...LOL

Just received my final result for semester 2 on last Friday.
I was quite happy to score my first A- for Marketing..but my CAP still fell short of my target by 0.02 point (stupid mno1001..haih).
but it's OK, just get over it and work hard for the next semester , AS USUAL >.<

Sometimes, I come across of this thought of not having internet access in my life. Things will become so much different from what I am experiencing now.

I remembered my first encounter with Internet when I was studying Form 1(Secondary year 1). At that time, ICQ was so popular among all my peers. the "Oh! oh!" message alert tone has never failed to raise my attention when I was doing something else. Besides, I've always sent emails to my elder brother who was studying in Singapore. That was the slow and unstable 56k dial-up connection era.

However, after a few years, a broadband connection known as Streamyx was introduced in Malaysia. It was indeed a life-changing experience for me. through search engines like Google and Yahoo, I am able to access a vast and diverse amount of information that was once unobtainable (sounds wrong..).
with higher connection speed, downloading songs and other multimedia contents had become so much easier and more convenient. that was the 384k broadband connection era.

Well, let's skip the boring part of 512k and 1Mbps because they are nothing much different as compared to the 384k broadband connection era. it's just Streamyx trying hard to improve itself as the fastest broadband connection in Malaysia. (it fails miserably tho)

and now, I am here, publishing my ideas and thoughts through the Internet. In fact, I spent most of my time surfing websites, doing a wide range of activities that wouldn't be possible without the Internet.

I guess, Internet access has indeed become a need of utter importance to me =)

Back 2 School

I had started school three weeks ago, and things didn't turn out so well for me.
I had missed so many hours of lectures and tutorials during my CNY self-proclaimed holidays T_T.
Therefore, I have to work so hard to catch up with my study, especially for MA1506 and CS1102C (the killer module)

well, its time for me to prepare myself for the upcoming Mid-Term Test (MTT).

Spring Festival

hahaha..so this is my second post in year 2009.
It's the second week of semester 2 in NUS,
However, I am still not in the mood for studying...

Certainly, I am more in mood for the coming Chinese New Year celebration !!!
Chinese New Year has always been one of the most important occasion for me.
It's a time when I get to receive tonnes of ang pau , and of course,a time to shop for new (and expensive) clothes =)
hahhaa, but more importantly, CNY is also a time when friends and family from all over the places can gather together for a great reunion!!

Well, I wish you all a wonderful and prosperous Ox-year!

时光飞逝，转眼2008年就这样过去了。

这时，我不禁想起去年我那漫长的假期，大学生活的开始，以及一些零碎的回忆。。

很开心，我依然能够继续我的大学生涯，完成我伟大的梦想（乱讲的）

今年，我拟定了几个我希望能够完成的愿望:

一，我必须考到4.00的平均积点学分CGPA( cumulative grade point average),
可能是我去年不够努力，结果考试成绩有点失水准。
所以我不能怨天尤人，而要不断进取 =)

无所事事的日子。。这次我一定不会再为自己找借口偷懒了！

好佩服我自己，连续在这假期参加了两个不同性质的生活营.

首先就是早前我参加的“南华派”Training Camp...
这是我第一次参与这么与众不同的生活营..
在三天两夜里，我不只接受了严格的体能训练。
此外，呵呵。。。我还学识了李小龙最擅长使用的双节棍-nunchaku.

更值得一提的是最后一天的free sparring对打比赛，
我使出浑身解术，始终逃不过被打败的命运。
就这样，我带着疲惫的身躯，破烂的眼镜回到家。。。

在休息了几天后，我又报名参加了第二十一届东海岸区学生记者培训营。
想当年，我从第十五届开始成为学记过后，从来没有skip过每一年的学记培训营。。
直到去年我因为一些突发心情，不能参加在关丹举办的。。
所以我决定在今年，和朋友们约好一起出席在直凉国中的培训营 =)
很开心能够与相隔至少有一两年的老朋友们见面，
大家一起共餐，玩游戏，一一叙述以往学记营里所度过的美好时光.

这次培训营最难忘的莫过于最后一晚，我和一群好友在食堂通宵。。。
平时最迟2点上床的我竟然到了4点多还在和朋友谈天说地。。真是奇迹！
就这样，我带着依依不舍的心情，回到了Home Sweet Home...

MyPlan for holiday

hahaha..this is probably the best time for me to have some serious gaming..

I haven been so enthusiastic about pc games after playing MapleSea for more than half a year.
hehehe, so..I bought myself a new video card : ATI Radeon HD 4670 =). It is a mid-range card that can perform reasonably well with all the modern games at 1280x1024 or even at higher resolution. Despite being incredibly cheap at the price of rm300++, it also has a very low power consumption!
With this new card, I can now play all the new released titles such as Crysis Warhead, Call of Duty : World At War, GTA IV, Dead Space and alot more..

and yeah, I also started to play MapleSea again. Just couldnt resist myself for trying out the 5th job, yeah u hear me, it's the awesome new stylish pirate !! Moreover, the opening of the sixth world FORNAX ,also known as the MALAYSIAN Gateway indicates that no more connection problem(lag) will be plaguing the malaysian players...Hurray!!

It feels good to be at home again =D

Compare to my place in SG, the weather here seems a lot better...
at least I won't be sweating all around in the afternoon.
Cant really stand the heat in my room, it's just horribly hot!!!
and yeah, I wasn't talking about the effect of air-conditioner, as I don't have any in my room here =P

Besides, I prefer my mum's cooking so much more than the food in Prince George's Park Residence. the food in PGP is just B0rIng, and it doesn't taste as great as my mum's simple yet delicious food..kakaka...perhaps outside food is all about the amount of MSG added, so that it's tastier?

By the way, this is the first day of my five week holiday!! so I got to enjoy it as much as I can....before reality hits again !

p/s : Just changed my blog skin...feels much more alive now =D

Here I am, unharmed.

However, I actually attended the "cashflow 101" workshop, not to learn more about the pyramid scam,but to try out the board game with human players.
That's a rather fun game as it sorta simulates the 40 years of our future life.

In the end, I didn't get out of the rat race, in fact, all of us were still stuck in the rat race.
I had definitely learned a lot from this game, especially from the part where I get to fill up the financial statements, which I think a lot of working people in real life fail to do so.
besides, I am also quite amazed by the concept of generating enough passive income to make up our daily expenses. Isn't it everyone's dream to have money working for us?

Still, those are just useless concepts if you don't apply them in real life.
but the real question remains unanswered : Is it really applicable?

I met with these two people in Vivo City.They introduced me to this Robert Kiyosaki 's Rich Dad, Poor Dad follow by some brief description about the book.Subsequently, they asked me to do a survey on topics related to personal financial planning. and those questions were intentionally set, i would say, to mislead me.
for eg. would you like to retire before 45??Answer: Yes or No.
That's like asking me, would you like to be a millionaire or even billionaire before 45? my answer is Hell Yeah, but the question is how?
Here comes the tricky part, the last question : would like to join a Cashflow 101 workshop organized by this this Entrepreneurship Center which I have never even heard before.
I thought for a while, and think this may be a good chance for me to learn this interesting board game..

Actually I sort of regret after revealing my contact.no to them.

After that, I have been approached by one of them, asking me out for a meeting so that I can get the ticket and watch some "educational videos". in the video, Robert Kiyosaki is giving a speech on the different mindset of rich and poor people that will directly change their course of life.
and this time, He started to chat with me about my family background, a little bit disturbing to me thou. of course, he couldn't stress more about how I, as a young man, should start to plan financially to achieve my dream life. his solution was so not exciting, to start up my own business or in another words, to be an entrepreneur. However, when he continued to share his thoughts, I started to sense some awkwardness in this situation: there cant possibly be such a kind person who come out from no where, yet,is so keen to offer me a solution to be a rich man @.@

I got back to my room after that meeting, with lots of question marks in my mind.

So, I tried to google for other information about this mysterious workshop.
and this is what I got : link1 , It's not something unexpected, but seriously, I was shocked to find out that I nearly fall prey to this pyramid scam...

As I read an article on work-life balance a few days ago, I came across with this profound statement made by The legendary actor James Dean.
I have been thinking about its meaning over and over again and ,at the same time, trying to relate it to my situation.
Its kinda boring to study, study and study for almost every hour of my life without knowing what I am actually heading. Besides, this is not exactly the type of life style that I would like to have for the rest of my 4 years here.

Life is too short to be a slave
to the daily grind.

this short sentence has deeply reflected the need to spare some time to do things that we had often missed out when we are too caught up with our work and day-to -day stuff. As a chinese proverb goes, "休息是为了走更长的路".By having some leisure time amid of our busy schedule, it allows us to recharge ourselves, hence giving us the source of energy to lead a happy and ,definitely,a more meaningful life.

Lastly,

It was quite surprising that the movie I had just recently starred flies high at Singapore's box office. and that's sorta a great achievement for me as I am the male lead actor =D

Mid-Term Test

So I am having my mid-term test now.

Just done my math paper a few couple hours ago..
Another two friends of mine were complaining on how difficult the paper is, while I was trying my best to smile to them.
That's because I thought I was supposed to be doing quite well for this math paper.
But it turns out that I was wrong, the time constraint has indeed affected my mind from thinking carefully and intelligently for every single question. I didn't even have the pleasure to check my answers for any careless mistake.eventually, I left with 2 unsolvable questions that I was forced to 'tikam'...sigh!

So, after much discussion with my friends on this paper, I went back to my room.
To my surprise, the solution manual for this paper had just been uploaded to IVLE, so much for our doubts.

After taking a glance through the answers, I felt pretty disappointed as I got one particular question wrong because I overlook some statement..zzzz.Besides, my 'tikam' skill also doesn't work out as those 2 questions are wrongly answered as well.

so there I go, 7/10, a not so pleasing mark for me =(

sorry for not posting something new except hp and laptop..hahaha
its just me getting busier and busier as homework is starting to pile up...
As a diligent student, I certainly do not want to go to tutorial classes without even attempting the tutorial questions first.
yeah. Sorry.. Blame It On Me =P

It sounds like I really fail at managing my time as I couldn't even fork out some time for myself and ATLEE@U. In fact, that was not true..simply because atlee spent hell lots of time watching dramas, (right after he got rid of MapleStory).

At this time, I am enjoying my life at home. despite the fact that the stupid mid-term test is just right around the corner! blah. who cares about exams?!

Co-curricular activities ( in short, CCA) is considered an essential part of a student's life.
with CCA, you give yourself a chance to mix around with other students. essentially, it allows us to step out of our comfort zone to get to know more people/friend. In this way, we can lead a quite active lifestyle other than just being a loner all the time. Besides, CCAs also give us exposure on various fields of interest such as sports, martial arts, religions and so on.
okay, atlee, please cut the crap!!!!

well, there is a better reason for joining CCAs : that's to earn CCA Points.

let's go on with Nam Wah Pai. I came across with this CCA when I was checking all the welcome teas by various CCAs. and I got attracted by this martial arts club after reading the description.
So I decided to give it a try!

And yeah, I actually went to the welcome tea session of Nam Wah Pai...
and suprisingly, this welcome tea session was not just ice-breaking.. there was a introductory course that came bundled with it...
GG, there I go, the most tortorous training that I had ever gone through happended in the next 3 hours, yeah, its that long, 3 HOURS!!!!!!
despite all those nasty strecthings and conditionings, the introductory course turned out to be quite enjoyable as I had not been doing so much exercise since the day I came to Singapore.

and Now, I had gone for three sessions of training...and I am definitely going for the next few sessions =D

I will be writing more about NWP in the next post =D

btw, HAPPY MALAYSIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY TOMORROW =D

A Brand New Start

There was this chinese proverb , it says that to accomplish something, we must start it right first. As I was stepping into this brand new phase of my life, I want to start it just as desirable =D.
here comes my latest build of workstation AKA bedroom. This personal space will be accompanying me for the following next 2 years,and it directly affects my life in one way or another. So, I had really tried my best to maintain its cleanliness and neatness.

besides, I have also equipped myself with some recent electronic devices that are deemed quite essential to an engineering student =D my loyal w800i is coming to the end of its long-term service as G900 sworn in as its glorious successor. Let's have a round of applause for w800i!!
just an extra bits of information, G900 is the latest Sony Ericsson smartphone with WIFI, Touchscreen and 5MP camera. All that for only 248 SGD, Savvy?
Coming next will be my new laptop, yes, atlee is going to have his LAPTOP ...i think i will leave it for the coming post =D
